Our Story
Hi, I'm Melinda, creator and maker of The Soul Sanctuary Path.
The Soul Sanctuary Path was originally the name of my soul- led online membership I created for the spiritually curious during the pandemic, that developed further into retreats here in Cornwall. My interest in making candles emerged as an additional enhancement to those offerings.
Due to a family illness, I did not have the bandwidth to continue the membership or the retreats but the candle testing and making continued slowly in the background until I perfected this craft.
After some trial and error and a couple of false starts, we officially launched on 26th October 2022 online and then began sharing our little range at local markets in Bude, Cornwall.
Our range is inspired by the wonder of nature, using the power of plants and infused with sacred geometry, to help rebalance the energies of the sensitive soul and enhance soul-led practises. Created for the soul led who prefer a minimalistic aesthetic, whilst having a minimal impact on the Earth.
All our candles are made in small batches in Morwenstow, North Cornwall, where they are carefully hand blended with pure essential oils and sustainable plant waxes (learn more here). Each one is individually hand poured into glass or ceramic vessels.
Our products are recycled/ recyclable, biodegradable/ compostable, vegan friendly, cruelty free and plastic free. We also actively support companies that reduce carbon from the air (learn more here).
