What is Kinesiology?

Systematic Kinesiology is a complementary therapy suitable for all age groups including children. Kinesiology aims to create harmony and balance to all aspects of the person, by working with the inter-relationship between body structure, chemistry, the mind/ emotions, and energy systems. Kinesiology is a truly holistic approach to mental and physical wellbeing.

Kinesiology assesses four main areas; Structure (muscles, bones), Chemistry (intolerances, nutritional deficiencies, blood sugar & hormones). Emotions (mindset, past trauma, mental health), and Electromagnetic factors (meridians, energy flow).

When a person experiences poor health it is due to an imbalance in one or more of these areas. Kinesiology aims to restore an optimum balance between all these factors in the body.

Kinesiology uses gentle muscle-testing corresponding to different parts of the body, to discover any elements that could affect an individual’s health.

Each muscle in the body has a link with the neurotransmitter supply to underlying organs. When challenged, the muscle response can highlight imbalances in the energy pathway to those underlying organs or glands. By using a range of gentle, yet powerful techniques, some individuals experience instant change and balance.

When working one to one with Melinda, every client session is unique to the individual, tailored to their specific needs, be it physical, emotional, energetic, or nutritional. All sessions are strictly confidential and held in a secure and safe environment.

Melinda has supported individuals with anxiousness, depressed mood, worry, trauma, phobias, bladder & bowel problems, joint & muscle pain, hormonal imbalance, digestion, gut & stomach issues, food sensitivities, fatigue, plus many more.

Some nutritional supplements and/ or Bach flower remedies also play a vital role during/ after each session, assisting the individual to greater health and well-being. If supplementation is needed they are purchased at the client’s discretion. Tailor made combinations of Bach Flower Remedies are supplied as part of the session.
