After years as a Reiki Practitioner, then as a Rahanni Practitioner, along with basic teachings in Pranic Healing, Melinda was guided to heal using her experience of all three modalities. This enables each individual to draw on the energy they need to address any imbalance. All healers act as a channel for the energy which is believed to activate the recipient’s natural ability to heal itself.
The method of receiving healing is a very simple, relaxing, non-intrusive process. Neither person has to use any effort of will or concentration during this process. The recipient simply lies on a couch, fully clothed, normally under a blanket and just relaxes. Melinda then gently hovers her hands non-intrusively around the whole body.
The whole person is treated rather than specific symptoms. The consultation and the healing usually takes up to an hour. During the treatment you may experience a number of reactions such as; a sensation of hot or cold, prickling feelings, tingling, tearfulness, stomach rumblings, falling asleep, flashes of past lives, involuntary movements, seeing colours and re-experiencing memories.
Your body will decide how much of the energy healing is required. You do not have to believe for it to work, just a desire to receive and accept the energy. Many people find their attitudes to life and its problems change for the better after receiving Energy Healing. With distant healing, is it exactly the same as in person, except we work through zoom while you are in the comfort of your own home.
After effects
Most people feel relaxed and at peace after a healing. You may feel tired or full o energy. Healing can also stir up emotions as part of the healing process and some people experience what is known as a healing reaction, such as headache or flu-like symptoms, which are normally of short duration.
Unfortunately, as a precaution, the following can only receive distant healing;
Cancer patients during Chemotherapy/ Radiotherapy.
Clients with Pacemakers.
Clients with Schizophrenia.
Please note a 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment. Price includes consultation beforehand and a follow up email afterwards containing a three oracle card reading and notes of anything that came up during your session.
The balance of payment is due at the end of your appointment, with cash or card.
Online appointments are up to 45 minutes and are available Monday to Wednesday on zoom. (a zoom link is automatically sent when you book.)
Face to face appointments are up to 60 minutes (includes 15 minutes to ensure safe to drive) and are available on Sundays in Marhamchurch near Bude, Cornwall (Please find address and directions HERE.)
Cancellation/ reschedule
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please give a minimum of 48 hours notice to allow someone else to take your appointment. You could lose your deposit if you do not cancel within the timeframe.
